Dear Families of Foundation,
I hope everyone had a restful and happy holiday break and that our new students are excited for the new school year and the beginning of their learning journey at Toorak Primary School.
Over the holidays we had some last minute changes to our staffing for 2018. Mr Tim Coleman and Mrs Chantelle Kelly were appointed teaching positions at Mentone Primary and Featherbrook College respectively. Mr Coleman will be undertaking leadership roles within his interest of Sustainability and Mrs Kelly will be teaching closer to home in 2018. Ms Louise Macaulay has been appointed the Prep A classroom teacher position and Mr Darren Conaghty has been appointed the Prep C role for this year.
Whilst we were sorry to lose Mr Coleman and Mrs Kelly we are very happy to welcome Ms Macaulay and Mr Conaghty and know they will be a great asset to our school community.
We would like to welcome all our 2018 Foundation families to meet our 2018 Prep team and visit the new classrooms on Wednesday January 31st. Classrooms will be open from 2:30pm. Please sign in at the office and you will be directed upstairs to see the new rooms and to meet the team for 2018.

If you are unable to visit on Wednesday we have emailed the “Meet the Teacher” letters and we will have a parent information evening on Monday February 5th at 6:30pm.
A Tea and Tissues morning tea will be available in the school hall on Thursday, February 1st for all our prep parents after drop off in the morning.
