ANZAC Day Assembly

A special ANZAC Day assembly was held on Tuesday 24 April to remember Australian and New Zealand Army Corps soldiers who have fought and died for our country. As part of the assembly, parent Anne Hamilton read an extract from her grandmother’s diary from the original ANZAC day. Her grandmother was a nursing sister on the hospital ship HMS Gascoyne at Gallipoli. Her original diary is in the War Museum in Canberra. The Anzac Day student choir accompanied by Grade 3 to 6 students also sang ‘Sometimes I Wonder’.
