GRADE 2 – Readers’ Notebook

Grade 2 students have developed their reader’s notebook in Term 3. Students are using their reader’s notebooks to track down their understandings of the books they are reading.  In reading sessions, teachers are modelling how to use various comprehension and reading accuracy strategies. Then students are using sentence starters to develop their ideas and record them in their books.
