One of the highlights of the school calendar is fast approaching, Book Character dress up day will be held on Friday 7th June during Literacy Week, so please start exercising your creativity and planning your costumes.
Every student is urged to dress up as a beloved book character. Maybe Harry Potter? The Cat in the Hat? Willy Wonka? Cinderella? The list is endless!
There will be a parade during assembly, so parents are invited to come along and marvel at the colourful and inventive costumes. Prizes in the form of Book Fair vouchers will be offered to some of our best dressed students.
Prep, Year One and Year Two parents and guardians are also invited to visit their child’s classrooms immediately after assembly on the day to read a book with their child.
