Bounce Back in Foundation!

Foundation has covered different topics this year in Bounce Back. Some of the topics we have looked at are emotions, relationships with others, looking on the bright side and courage. The students have participated in many different activities to explore these concepts, including activities about safety from the Daniel Morcombe Foundation.

This is what our Foundation students said when asked, what is Bounce Back?

When something bad happens we get over it by thinking about good things that are going to happen or ask a friend to help you. – Lauren (Prep A)

Bounce Back is when you’re upset you bounce back because bad things can sometimes turn into good things. – Divit (Prep A)

You have to get up when you are hurt or someone says something mean. We bounce back and keep going. – Lydia (Prep B)

If your friends are being naughty or hurting you, you walk away and tell someone. – Leo C (Prep B)

In Bounce Back we learn how we can bounce back when we’re sad to be happy again. – Sterling (Prep C)

In Bounce Back we make people feel good by saying nice things to them like “you look nice” and they will feel happy. – Miranda (Prep C)

Bounce Back is when you are a good  learner and you don’t cry, you are just kind to everyone. – James (Prep D)

We give people balloon comments. They make people feel good and rise up when we say nice things to them. – Margaux (Prep D)
