To celebrate learning about ‘Living Things’, all of the children from Foundation went on an excursion to Bundoora Park.
With the thrill of being on a ‘BIG BUS’ keeping the children very excited, we finally arrived at the park. Thankfully the weather cooperated and produced beautiful sunshine, which saw everyone enjoy a great day, jam-packed with activities that included, making scones, learning about home grown fruit and vegetables, digging around the compost and finding worms, milking Lotte the goat, meeting the farm animals, making their own environmentally friendly and sustainable pot and planting their own snow-pea seeds. A highlight for Foundation A students was the tractor ride around the park to see some native Australian animals.
