At Toorak Primary School we endeavour to run as many extracurricular programs as possible. This year we have started not one, but TWO choirs for our students! Miss Brough is running a junior choir for Grades 1-3 and Miss Sinker is running a senior choir for Grades 4-6. At the moment we are learning songs that will be performed in upcoming assemblies.
We are asking that parents speak to their children about attending choir. Choir is optional but we are encouraging students to attend as regularly as possible. If your child/children has mentioned their interest in choir, please remind them that it is a great opportunity and help them to understand the importance of their commitment. If we want to perform what we are learning in choir we need students to attend often enough to properly learn the material.
Thank you to all the parents and friends who are helping children practice their songs at home! It’s encouraging to see some very enthusiastic choir members, and we can’t wait to see what the rest of the year will bring!
