Computers and ICT (Information, Communication & Technology)

Our school's eLearning vision is,
"To provide a challenging and dynamic learning environment that enables our school community to be innovative and confident users of technology and active members of a global society".

We incorporate ICT into the curriculum at all levels. Our school has a computer lab and each classroom is fitted with networked computers and internet access. Classroom teachers utilise a range of computer technologies to support all areas of learning. Interactive whiteboards are utilised in every classroom to engage students and enhance teaching and learning.

A specialist teacher provides all students with computer lessons each week. Our students collaborate with other children around the world through blogs, moderated bulletin boards and animation sharing websites. In the computer lab there is multimedia approach to learning where students can enjoy incorporating digital photography, animation, sound and movies into their various learning projects.

Our students learn how to use technology in a safe and effective way by following our Computer Code of Conduct and through the guidance of their teachers.
