Year 2 Cooking Club

This year in Year 2 I ran a cooking club each Tuesday lunchtime in partnership with Flip Shelton, Harvey’s mother and super-chef.  Each week Flip researched healthy recipes such as banana balls, icy poles, muesli and Christmas cakes that the students could make.  The cooking sessions were so popular that we often cooked the same thing for consecutive weeks to meet student demand, accommodating different participants each time.  Flip also shopped and set up work stations each week in the canteen. What a star!
