As the term draws to its close students in foundation to year three will be adding to their Passport to Languages booklet issued by the Department of Education.  It is an innovative resource that students can take with them from Prep to Year 3 to record their language education achievements.

Did you manage to guess what the two iconic French food items are?

Fromage (cheese) is one as it is produced throughout France and there are over 400 varieties using the milk from cows, sheep and goats.

The next is the tiny but so savoured ‘cornichon’.  They are similar to what we know as pickles but differ in taste and most importantly size.
