On Wednesday 7th September, the Girls’ Softball team competed in the State Finals. With a number of players away on the New Caledonia trip, five students from Grades 3 & 4 were drafted in as replacements. The new players were put through an intensive two week session to help get them up to speed.
The girls had a fantastic day, managing to win 2 games before going down in the semi-final – meaning that they finished as one of the top 4 teams in Victoria. One of the new players, Emma Hoban, was spectacular on the day and was voted Toorak’s best on the day by her peers.
Congratulations Girls.
