Grade 2 Using Google Apps For Education (GAFE)

Grade 2 in 2018 have been using Google Apps in ICT to allow students to collaborate, create and present their work in a multimedia format. This is the first time Junior School students have had access to this range of technology at Toorak PS.

To launch Google Apps in Grade 2 we have developed a joint Google Drive account for all Grade 2 students to access google slides (equivalent to ‘powerpoint’) , google sheets (equivalent to ‘excel’) and google docs (equivalent to ‘word’).

Students also use Google Drive to view reading resources, worksheets, education links and work samples that Grade 2 teachers add to the account.

**We strictly ask that in Grade 2 Google Apps are only used in class, and students do not log on to Google Drive account out of school hours.

A little more about GAFE
