On Friday 19 May, four students from Toorak Primary attended a morning tea at an Art studio in Malvern in recognition of reaching the final of the Higgins Anzac Poetry Competition. The students invited were Atara (Grade 4), Thomas, Synthia & Abigail (Grade 6) The students received certificates and were the chosen finalists from over 300 poetry entries. A special mention to Thomas who was runner up in the Grade 5/6 age group. Here is a group shot with Kelly O’Dwyer who presented the certificates and awards.
