The Grade Fours are getting excited about their upcoming camp next week. This week we have spent some time on the Camp Marysville website, http://www.campmarysville.org.au, looking at our accommodation and doing a virtual tour of the campsite.
Camp Marysville is about developing leadership skills, interpersonal development and sustainability. There are a range of activities that students can do, including canoeing, rock climbing and abseiling, cooking, orienteering, sustainability activities and a trivia night.
A reminder that we ask all students to meet at 8:15am on the Prep Oval, Wednesday 26th of April. We will return to school on Friday 28th of April at approximately 4:00pm. Please check the school website and app for updates on this time.
A reminder of clothing list, insect repellent, sunscreen and suggested items are available through Compass (please make sure these items are clearly labelled). Any child who has asthma/severe allergy eg. anaphylaxis must have an up-to-date management plan, signed by your doctor.
Any mobile phones which are brought for photographic purposes must not have a SIM card in them. All phones will be checked by staff on the first day. If parents need to contact their child, please use the school mobile number which has been provided on camp forms.
This is an exciting part of the Grade Four year and we are all very much looking forward to camp!
