Acting Principal Holiday Message

Dear Parents and Carers,

As we bid farewell to another great term, I wanted to take a moment to express my thanks to each and every one of you for your unwavering support, dedication, and partnership in your child’s education journey.

The past couple of months have gone very quickly and have been filled with many moments of excitement, joy, growth, and achievement. I’m immensely proud of the progress our students have made academically, socially, and emotionally. Our amazing students have embraced learning with enthusiasm, shown resilience and determination in the face of any challenges they have faced.
Over the term, we have had a plethora of activities that have delivered a great breath of curriculum for our students, including: Courage for Care sessions, sporting opportunities, amazing incursions and excursions, preparation for and then completing the online NAPLAN in Year 3 and 5, our Welcome Picnic and the very successful Paper Planes and Pizza night. The 2024 Foundation students have completed their first term of primary school. Congratulations to our foundation, students and parents!

This week we also held our first meeting with our new school council committee members, and I am pleased to announce our school council office bearers for 2024 are:
President: Alicia Brown
Vice President: David Clarke
Treasurer: Helena Gaertner

School council endorsed the Annual Report for 2023 and once this have been fully endorsed, by the Department of Education, the leadership team will present this to our school community.

Behind every successful child, there’s a supportive and nurturing community, and I’m continually inspired by the unwavering commitment of our parents. Your involvement, whether it’s volunteering in classrooms, attending school events, or simply encouraging on your child from the sidelines, plays an invaluable role in shaping their educational experience and future.

With your continued support and with our dedicated and committed staff members, I have no doubt that the remainder of the school year will be filled with even more accomplishments, growth, and cherished memories.

Wishing you all a restful and rejuvenating break filled with joy, laughter, and cherished moments with your children.

Kind regards
Sharon Wildermuth
