Hello everyone! My name is Chantelle Kelly and I’m thrilled to have returned to Toorak Primary School and to be part of the grade 3 teaching team. I will also be teaching Grade 2 Art and supporting EAL (English as an Additional Language) students.
I took family leave in 2011 and really enjoyed spending time at home with my daughter. I also worked as an emergency teacher whilst on family leave.
Before I had my daughter, I worked at Toorak Primary School for eight years, across all year levels. I originally moved from Geelong, where I taught Grade 1 and 2 for five years. Toorak Primary School has changed a lot in the five years that I’ve been away, but it’s lovely to still see a few familiar faces in the classrooms and school yard. I look forward to meeting everyone as the year progresses!
