Term 3 and Term 4 have some of the most popular events on the TPS social calendar! These events are only possible with the help of volunteers. Here is a list of the events and some of the roles we need filled.
Father’s Day – Thursday 29 August, 7:30am-9am
Event Leader and Teacher Luke Fletcher needs 10 parents to assist with cooking sausages and assembling egg and bacon rolls. We want this to be our biggest and best Father’s Day breakfast ever!
Aladdin The Musical – Wednesday 18 September
Are you handy with a mascara brush or a hairpin? We need someone who can help with makeup on the night.
Are you a keen photographer and can assist with taking photos for the program?
Can you assist with serving food and drink on the night?
Can you support our new music teacher and our teachers on the night with staging, moving props and shepherding our students?
Fashion Night – Friday 8 November
Kylie Colville and Martina Egan are looking for some volunteers to assist with a couple of important roles. In particular someone who can co-ordinate the Silent Auction items in the lead up to the event, and then the management on the night of getting the prizes to the successful bidder.
Tuckshop Working Group
A working group has been set up to explore the best possible option for our tuckshop on an on-going basis and are looking for another person. If you are interested in food and our kids’ health, please join our working group, including Alicia Brown, Jackie Middleton and Flip Shelton, to develop a plan and review Vic Health’s canteen policies. We want to create a fantastic tuckshop with a variety of delicious and healthy food options to fill kids tummies, ease pressure for busy parents and solve some lunchbox challenges when the cupboard is bare!
