Teachers have been busy preparing fun activities throughout Week 8 to engage our students during online learning. Our aim is to keep our students connected to TPS and our community, give our students a reason to smile each day and break the monotony of a lockdown for our children. We have had great participation online and hope these activities have brightened our students lockdown.
Here are a few of the many things that Grade Levels have done to promote a bit of fun in our students day:
- Back to the Future Day (time travel form the comfort of your loungeroom)
- World Travel Day (the only way to explore new countries during a lockdown)
- World Sustainability Day
- The Tooravision Song Contest
- Bring your pet to class day
- Virtual Recess (allowing friends and peers to catch up and reconnect in a supervised online setting)
- Teacher swap and team teaching
All of these activities would not be possible without the hard work of all teachers to create these experiences. We also need to say a huge THANK YOU to our parent and carer community for facilitating our students learning during this period. It has been a big team effort and it shows the strength of our community.
