Dear Parents,
We have had many parents expressing the wish to assist in the classroom but were unable to attend the workshops. We have an online course available for you to watch. The link is:
Once you have watched the very quick video (must be on a computer not a phone) and organised a Working with Children check please see the office with your Working with Children check card. The office staff will ask you some questions about the video and give you a certificate of completion that you can show to the classroom teacher to begin helping. They will also ask you to sign the TPS Child Safe Standards Volunteers agreement.
Please note that when you are helping in the classroom it is important to maintain confidentiality. All children learn and develop at different rates. Please discuss any concerns with the classroom teacher to ensure that confidentiality is maintained for all children.
