Principal Message

Another excited group of Year Five students departed for Mt Buller this morning. The bus left on time in daylight as opposed to last week’s group leaving in darkness.  Fortunately the days are getting longer! With such large numbers in year five, the ski camp has been spread across two weeks. Those in the first group thoroughly enjoyed their skiing experience with both instructors and staff. How lucky we are to have so many willing staff members as well as community members who are prepared to support our students on the slopes of Mt Buller.

Next week we plan to continue with our School Self Evaluation in preparation for the School Review taking place in Term Four.

A change of school uniform supplier is currently being actioned. Our new supplier will be State Schools Relief. In the short term, if items of uniform are required, please contact the school office since some stock is available through the school. Further information will be provided as it comes to hand.

There will be a whole school Curriculum Day on Monday September 3.  This day will be student free so please make alternative arrangements for your children. Staff will take the opportunity to further develop their skills in the teaching of mathematics and will engage the services of The Mathematics Association of Victoria to present a range of teaching strategies aimed at addressing the learning needs of each student.
