Our school community enjoyed two exciting events this week. The first was the annual Swimming Carnival organised by Miss White, PE Leader. The success of the day was largely due to support from staff, parents and students. Toorak Primary School sports tops, worn by many students, added splashes of colour adding to a sense of excitement throughout the carnival.
Our annual Welcome Picnic, facilitated by Alicia Brown was another huge success. Many current and new families took the opportunity to join in the festivities of the evening. Thank you to the band of volunteers who supported Alicia and to staff for cooking sausages for our community. I can verify that the German School pretzels were delicious! Once again George Ajaimi provided all the sausages for the BBQ. thanks again George!
Most school photos will be taken today. However, due to swimming commitments, family photos will taken at a later date.
Next week is “Meet and Greet” week. Please remember to book a time with your classroom teacher/s to share any information important to addressing the needs of your child. We look forward to working with you to support the academic, emotional and social needs of your child throughout 2019.
