What a night to remember! Our first ever Trivia Night! A night filled with a fun, laughter and community spirit. Such nights don’t just happen. After seeing some of our parents last Friday afternoon, it was clear the event was a huge undertaking. On behalf of our school community, I would like to thank the Trivia Night Organising Committee including: Alicia Hanneberry, Susie Cole, Alicia Brown, Lisa Hollister, Susannah Jobling-Hodgens, Flip Shelton, Sandra O’Neil, Eliza Mantello (thank you for a great deal on the wine Eliza), Jackie Middleton (thank you for creating the menu Jackie) and Laine Monk who is responsible for the graphic design tonight. In addition, many of our school community members donated products and services for the Silent Auction. Thanks to each of you. There were 42 fantastic Silent Auction items to bid on as well as the fabulous raffle prize, of a night at Crown Metropole for two. Congratulations to Novka Long, mother of James and Harry, who won the prize!
Early the next morning, some of the same parents were at the school to prepare for the Election Day breakfast ad cake stall. As yet, I don’t have a list of helpers but would like to thank everyone who, gave up their precious time to support our wonderful school. A special message of thanks is extended to the Events, Fundraising and Marketing Committee.
