Principal Message

It was so nice to see the happy smiling faces of our students last Tuesday. Many families informed me of how excited the children are to be back at school. I must say, that I also, am very happy to be back at school. Welcome to 2018 everyone. Over the holidays, the builders worked diligently, even on 40 degree days, to ensure our new classrooms were ready for our students. Thanks to Grove for their close association with the school and management of the project. We have several new staff members who have spent considerable time preparing classrooms for each grade. Please ensure you take time to meet with your child’s teacher so that a strong, open communication line can be developed between home and school. Our 107 new prep students arrived at school today. In an orderly fashion, all students have settled into their first day of primary school. To stay informed, keep an eye on the school blog and the Compass calendar as there will be many events occurring during first term. I’m sure as the days progress, holiday activities will become a distant memory. To remind me of my holidays, I have taken a photo of my country garden where I spent many hours tending to the plants’ needs.
