Restorative Practices: A window into our classroom

At Toorak Primary, we have been on a journey over the last few years to implement a restorative framework and school culture that looks to leverage relationships to improve student wellbeing and outcomes.

Here is a video from our consultant, Adam Voigt, about high expectations. Teachers take a ‘firm and fair’ approach at TPS. This involves lashings of high expectations, mixed with a generous amount of engagement and relationship building.

We are seeing the benefits of this approach at TPS and the engaged faces in classrooms tell us we are building a strong TPS community
