3/4 Swimming lessons at KLIM Swim, Richmond
This week the grade 3/4 students have participated in a two week swimming program at Richmond Klim Swim. The 25 metre indoor pool is closed to the general public but is sometimes used by the Richmond Football Club. Last Monday, students shared the pool with a number of Richmond players, it’s been exciting for them having the experience to swim alongside elite athletes whilst having their lesson.

Melbourne Football Club
MFC players will come to visit some 5/6 leaders on Thursday Feb 14 and will then run a clinic with some 3-6 students on the oval in a similar fashion to last year.

TPS students at the Australian Open
Haydon and Lincoln Fa had a wonderful opportunity at the Australian Open in Melbourne. Lincoln tossed the coin at the beginning of the game for Milo Raonic (Canada) and Nick Kyrgios (Australia). He was also able to meet Dylan Alcott and Health Davidson.  Haydon, was one of 50 children invited to attend a Rafael Nadal Academy clinic. What a great opportunity for them both! They are very keen and enthusiastic tennis players.

Cricket Victoria Grant
We have received a Cricket Victoria grant courtesy of the federally funded Sporting Schools program. This cricket grant will go towards a cricket coach who will come to TPS for a day a week for four weeks, dates to be confirmed at this stage.

Hats and Sunscreen
A reminder that all children must wear hats and are encouraged to apply sunscreen before school whilst outside during terms 1 and 4.
