In line with our inquiry about Water and the need for us all to take care of Earth’s precious resources, we are currently heightening student awareness of aligned messages about sustainable living.
We are encouraging students to support Nude Food initiatives in class which are designed to reduce waste. Nude Food simply means that rather than bringing foods with plastic packaging that goes straight into the bin, we recommend that items are sent in reusable, washable containers. We will also remind students that, fortunately, fruits and vegetables already come in their own biodegradable packaging.
While Nude Food will be promoted, please be assured there will not be any repercussions for those who continue to bring any foods in disposable packaging other than encouragement to reduce waste.
