Year 5 Camp Manyung Day 2

Day Two at Camp Manyung has been another adventure-filled day. After a restful sleep, we were all energized for a new day! The clouds looked quite ominous, but we weren’t going to let that stop us from enjoying our busy day of activities. Everyone rugged up, complete with wet weather gear, and off we went.

Some activities were altered due to the weather conditions which meant today’s activities included Surf Lifesaving, Surfing/Bodyboarding, Tree Surfing, the Giant Swing and team-building games, as well as Flying Fox, Archery, Marine Discovery, Leadership Challenge and Tree Top Challenge. The new activities were a big hit!

Tonight we enjoyed a delicious roast dinner with chocolate mousse, followed by a suspenseful Murder Mystery Night where students had to use their problem-solving skills to uncover the suspect!

After our very busy day of activities, students tucked up into bed and fell asleep quickly. Tomorrow we look forward to finishing our activity rotations and returning to Toorak P.S. in the afternoon.
