Grade 4 Update

Last week we had our excursion to Albert Park during the Grand Prix. The majority of our time was spent in the Industry and Innovation Centre, where we were able to listen to seminars about physical and chemical sciences. We were also afforded the opportunity to interact with and explore scientific displays from a variety of universities and companies, such as driving miniaturised rovers around the surface of Mars, being 3D scanned into the virtual world, understanding mechanics through the exploration of a real helicopter and army personnel vehicles, interacting with 3D printing, and understanding drones and how they can be used.

This week marks our final week of Term 1. It has been an incredibly busy, hard working term, but also a fun term. New friendships have been struck, and learning expectations have been raised. We hope that you enjoy your holiday, and look forward to seeing you all again, refreshed, at the beginning of Term 2.

Sincerely the Year 4 team,

James Thomas and James Basemore,
