Welcome back to the 2020 school year! Welcome also to our staff for this year. What a vibrant and energetic group we have! Lessons began in an orderly fashion with classrooms looking colourful and all students focussed on their learning tasks. A sense of excitement was evident amongst staff as they mingled with both new and current colleagues over breakfast yesterday morning. Please introduce yourselves as you notice new staff around the school yard. Many have commented already on the wonderful, friendly parent community at Toorak Primary School. I have visited some classes today and plan to reach others tomorrow. As the days go by, I look forward to catching up with everyone. I would like to inform the school community that ASSEMBLIES WILL NOW BE ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON to ensure the mornings are allocated to literacy and numeracy.
