Next Monday we will be holding out House Cross Country at Orrong Romanis Reserve on Orrong Road. The carnival will run from 11:30am – 1:30pm. All students from Prep – Grade 6 will be walking to the park and will leave school at 11:30am. They will return to school around 1:30pm.
This event will go ahead in most weather conditions. We will cancel the event only if there is heavy rain or storms and a decision to cancel will be made by 10am Monday and posted on the school blog. Please make sure that your child brings and wears appropriate clothing (runners, rain coats, jumpers, track pants, shorts etc). Students are also required to bring a water bottle, snack and hat to the park. Students may wear house colours to the event.
We are looking for parent helpers to walk with the students to and from the park, especially in the Prep-Grade 2 classes. We will also need some parents to help Mr Holden with setup at the venue from 11am. If you are willing to help out with walking then please let your classroom teacher know. If you are willing to help set up then please see Mr Holden.
