Performing Arts

In Performing Arts this term students have been creating characters during games, activities and performances and are learning to create storyboards and imaginary story scenarios for group performances. Students are learning about expressive skills such as how to use their voice, body gestures and facial expressions to portray feelings and different characters. Performing Arts gives everyone the opportunity to  learn about acting, script writing, puppetry, movement, dance, stage spacing, audience participation, singing and voice projection. Students are gaining performance confidence through creating and making plays, as well as learning how to express who they are and how they feel about their world, through creativity.
