Students were up nice and early again this morning ready for a big day ahead. We were on the slopes by 8.30am, with many graduating from the magic carpet onto the chair lift. At lunch, they regaled tales about the different runs they’d skiied and new techniques they have learned.
After lunch, they skiied to new heights in their afternoon lesson. Before heading back to the lodge, we stopped off at the mini doughnut stand where many students indulged in an afternoon snack to replenish energy levels.
Other skiiers on the mountain have paid compliments to how well behaved our students have been and it is a huge compliment to them.
The evening concluded with a very competitive game of trivia featuring rounds of pop culture, the arts, sport, literacy and numeracy and concluded with questions on ski camp. The team ‘Billy Bouncing Bananas’ won convincingly. Congratulations to Harry, Hugo, Tony and Charlie H!
