Term 4 commenced last Monday and what a start it was with the Grade threes heading off on their first ever school camp. An amazing time was had by all, with the students involved in a myriad of activities (low ropes, initiative activities, geo caching, flying fox to name a few) which focused on building resilience, working as a team and developing independency. I can assure you that all the students achieved the above learning outcomes. They attempted all activities, helped out at breakfast and dinner times, supported each other, worked as a team to pull children and staff on the giant swing, packed up their own equipment (they were experts at rolling up their sleep bags!) to name just a few. I was so proud to be a staff member at TPS as the students attempted new things, confronted their fears and created so many memorable memories. Congratulations to the students and staff who attended!
