Throughout terms 1 and 2, Grade 5 and 6 classes have been studying art of Asia. The students have been experimenting with different materials to make Chinese lanterns and have painted scrolls depicting the beauty of nature. They have explored traditional Japanese Banraku puppets and are currently enjoying creating their own characters using paper clay and a variety of other media.
NOTE: Year 4-6 students, please ensure that you bring your A4 artist’s sketchbooks to school. This is an ongoing planning tool that you received in Year 3. If you have misplaced or finished yours please purchase a new one from your local newsagent. Thank you.
