Assembly Update

The Hawiian Disco was held on Friday 14th in the school hall. All students thoroughly enjoyed the evening. A huge thank you to the event organiser – Catherine Kranz and her team of volunteers who presented a beautifully decorated hall with a fabulous Hawiian theme. Well done to all concerned.

The Mothers’ Fashion Night was also another memorable occasion. The evening was very well attended with past parents who continue to support the school’s fundraising efforts as well as simply enjoying the social aspect of the night. Thanks to event organiser, Kylie Colville and her team for yet another successful Fashion Parade.

Our current parents are still steadily enrolling siblings for foundation classes in 2016. Please be sure to visit the office for enrolment information if your child is eligible to begin school next year. We currently have four classes.

Toorak/ South Yarra Library is holding a Reading Hour with Christie Swan on Thursday 18th from 4.30-5.30pm. The Reading Hour is provided free of charge by Stonnington Council.

Musical tickets are now on sale through Try Booking. Students do not require a ticket. All children will be supervised by staff in the backstage viewing rooms.The three tickets allocated to each family are to purchase for other family members.

Parents and visitors are asked to ensure they sign in at the front office when visiting the school. It is very important to know who is in the school in order to fulfill Emergency Management requirements should the situation arise.

A reminder that a special Father’ Day breakfast is to be held in the school grounds on Friday September 4 before school. There will be a coffee cart, breakfast and games for the male members of school community. More information will be forthcoming as the date draws closer.
