Congratulations to all our swimmers who competed in the District Swimming Carnival yesterday at the Prahran pool. We were very lucky with some beautiful weather which really set the scene for the day. A big thank you to Kerie Agnew for her help and support on the day and to all the parents that came along to support their children.
There was a wonderful atmosphere with Toorak parents and students cheering and encouraging one another in their events. It was great to see the sportsmanship displayed when students competed in extra events that they weren’t scheduled to swim in-even after already having 4 swims for the day!
Thank you to the students who lent their goggles to others, picked up rubbish, swam in extra events and tried their best. You really displayed school pride.
It was a fantastic day to be a part of and I felt very proud watching the Toorak swimmers compete and represent the school. Well done!
