Election Day Sausage and Cake Stall

Election day is fast approaching (18 May!!), and how better to celebrate democracy than with a hot sausage and a sweet treat to take home. Last year our stall was a great success, and this year we want it to be bigger and better!

Cake Stall Baking
Calling all bakers! We need LOTS of delicacies to sell at our gorgeous cake stall! Cakes! Slices! Biscuits! Lebkuchen! Kourabiethes! Cuccidati! Ghoraiybah! Manju! Mbatata! Lets showcase our diversity with treats from around the world! Baking packs with wrapping materials and instructions will be sent home to all families prior to the event. If you don’t want to bake anything please send the pack back to school so we can use the materials. Foundation families can collect a pack from the office.

All baked goods need to be HOME MADE and not require refrigeration. You can also bring your goods in a named container and we will pack it for you. We’d love as many baked goodies delivered to the school kitchen on Friday 17 May, from 9am however please do drop off anything for the cake stall on the morning of Saturday 18 May if that is easier.

BBQ Masters and Cashiers
We would love your help on the Election Day, either behind the BBQ, selling cakes and hot drinks or simply setting and cleaning up!  This is also great opportunity for our older students to assist in selling goodies to the local community, especially given the profits are being raised for their benefit, and there’s nothing like a smiling face of a grateful child to get a sale!  Perhaps encourage your child(ren) to grab a classmate and volunteer some of their time to the stall.
