Dear Families,
Based on feedback from our parent surveys and focus groups we have noted that communication between home and school is an area we need to improve. As of October 12th, the Compass portal will be open for parents to email classroom teachers directly. An email will be sent to all families regarding how to use the portal and draft guidelines for appropriate communication. We will survey both parents/carers and school staff later in the term regarding the effectiveness of the new communication procedures. We hope that this trial will lead to much more effective home/school partnerships in the future.
