Digby Bankes in grade 6 was recently awarded the 2017 Fred Hollows Humanity Award (highly commended) in recognition of his wonderful fundraising efforts in the World’s Greatest Shave. Digby raised over $12,000 for the Leukaemia Foundation. Ellis Ashe and Ty Hayes also raised a significant amount. The Fred Hollows Award encourages students to care for others, show compassion, integrity, kindness and to make a positive difference in their school community. Well done Digby!
