We have had a great start to 2019 in our school garden with our Grade 1 students learning sustainability skills in our garden classroom. The students were very engaged and eager to learn about the environment and how to be more sustainable. This week’s lesson was all about handling seedlings correctly. Students put their new acquired skills to work planting a crop of salads, cucumbers, beans and late zucchinis.
