Grade 2 Cardboard Arcade

This term the Grade 2’s have been busily constructing a Game Arcade made predominantly from Cardboard and recycled materials. This culminated on Tuesday when they opened their Cardboard Arcade to the whole school and parents of Year 2 students and what a success it was!

Students planned their game creations, built them in small teams, trouble shooting problems they encountered along the way and then promoted their games through colourful signs and engaging PowerPoint Presentations. Year 2 students showed visitors to the arcade how to play each game and many guests were rewarded with toy prizes and house points.

“I liked how all the games were different,” Molly T (2B).

“It was really fun how everyone had a go at everyone’s games,” Skye H (2A).
