The Grade 3 Netbook Program is off to a great start this year with many families taking up the program. Devices will be rolled out to students over the coming weeks as they are arrived and prepared by our school technician. Once they have been set up by our technician they will be delivered to your child’s teacher or directly to your child. Please have patience as there are quite a few devices that we have to get through.
We are encouraging all students and parents to get on board with this program as the devices will be used regularly in class throughout the remaining years at Toorak Primary School.
For those of you who have ordered the HP device, your orders are still on the way. You will have received an email from Centercom informing you that you will be receiving an upgraded device. This was due to the popularity of the HP models over the holidays. Once the device became unavailable Centercom and HP very kindly decided to offer the newer upgraded model for no extra charge. These devices are expected to be delivered in the coming weeks. Centercom will be in touch with those that ordered the HP model to keep them updated with delivery ETA’s.
