Dear Parents/Guardians,
Homework for all students in Grade 5 & 6 will now be set online through Literacy Planet and Mathletics meaning no physical homework sheet will be sent home on Thursdays. Students will be assigned homework by their class teacher which will then be tracked. Students will have until the following Thursday to complete the tasks assigned.
As part of Literacy Planet Homework, all students will now be assigned weekly spelling words with associated tasks. The spelling words will be issued online each Thursday and tested during class time the Friday of the following week (e.g. Spelling test words assigned Thursday 14th April – Week 1, will be tested in class after assembly Friday 22nd April – Week 2 unless otherwise notified by a teacher).
All students should have a copy of their passwords for both of these sites. Please see your teacher if you have any issues with internet access/logging on to complete tasks.
