Grade 5 Sovereign Hill Excursion

On the 20th of April, the Grade 5s journeyed to Sovereign Hill in Ballarat as part of their History unit on Immigration.  They were taken back in time, as students were able to pan for gold, try their hand on the wooden lanes of 19th Century bowling and explore a variety of shops. As well as that, students attended a gold pouring display and then were transported back to an 1850’s classroom. Enjoy some of the pictures from our time there below.
