As part of their Inquiry unit, the Grade 6 students are in the process of creating an election campaign creating leaflets, posters and speeches. They will be pitching their campaign to other students in the school who will then vote for their favourite campaign. Some of the campaigns include protection of marine life, curing cancer, clean water for everyone etc. Yesterday, we had Andreas Vecchiet come into school who delivered a fantastic presentation to the students on how to deliver a successful and persuasive speech in order to win votes.
