Last week, the Year 2s had their first excursion for 2016 to support our inquiry into living things. Thanks to the many parent helpers who ably assisted us. Happily all the students travelled well on the long bus trip. Here are some photos. Look out for some oral recounts from the Year 2 students in forthcoming school news broadcasts.
Each class now has a stuffed pet, to be taken home weekly by our deserving students of the week. We have Brownie the Wombat in 2A and Zamel the Camel in 2B. We are looking for students throughout the year who exhibit tolerance, persistence and strive for success. The recipients take Brownie or Zamel on exciting adventures.
