Hi parents,
We are the two Learning Specialists at TPS for 2019. Our names are Sharon Lomas and Leah French and we are leading Literacy and Numeracy respectively.
We are highly skilled classroom teachers who will be working in partnership to support teachers and students across the whole school. Our focus is to improve both teacher practice and student outcomes. As part of our role, we will be demonstrating and modelling engaging lessons within the classroom and providing feedback to teachers on their practice. In addition, we will work with small groups of students to develop a deeper understanding of concepts within subject areas, such as Reading, Writing and Maths.
If you see us in the yard or in your child’s classroom, please come and say hello and ask any questions you may have. We will publish a blog each fortnight with tips and resources to support your child’s learning at home.
