The House Swimming Carnival will be held next Friday Feb 12 at Prahran Aquactic Centre on Essex St, Prahran. All Grade 3-6 students will be attanding the event. Students can wear their house colours for the day. They will also be required to bring a packed lunch, snack, water bottles, bathers, towel, hat, suncream and spare clothes for changing into after the races. Please try and refrain from sending along large quantity of lollies and sugar with the your students and opt instead for the natural energy of fruit.
Students will be leaving school at 9:15am and will be walking to the pool and then walking back to school by the end of the day. We require as many parent helpers as possible with this as well as helpers during the carnival to supervise students, time races, marshal competitors and record results. If you are able to help out, please let your classroom teacher or Mr Holden know ASAP.
