Information Regarding TPS Junior and Senior Performances Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st August 2018 Firbank Concert Centre
All TPS students will be performing in the school musical on Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st of August at Firbank Concert Centre at Firbank Grammar School.
Rehearsals on Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th August
SENIOR LEAD ROLES AND BALLET GROUP (not ensemble pirates, Indians, mermaids)
All lead roles will stay at school and be supervised on Monday and Tuesday from 3.30pm to 4.15pm. They will be provided with a light meal and then transported by bus to Firbank Concert Centre at 4.15 PM. They will have full sound and costume rehearsals and will need to be collected by a parent or pre-nominated guardian from the venue at 8.00pm.
Cost:
Bus transport both nights + meals= $30
Bus transport alone for both nights (meal provided by parents) = $20
Please note that meals provided by parents require minimal dairy content as this will affect their vocal performance.
Payment for transport and/or meals will need to paid ASAP to the school office.
Junior School Pre-Show “Poolside Party” Performance Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st August 7pm
Prep to Grade 2 students are required to be at Firbank Concert Centre by 6:00pm, dressed in their costumes, according to their designated teams below. The performance is expected to finish by 7:30pm. Students are able to be collected at this time from the indicated area (signage will be displayed). Please make sure all children have been fed dinner prior to their arrival at the venue.
Collection arrangements for junior students:
After the junior performance we encourage all families to stay and watch “Peter Pan Jr”. Parents may purchase a ticket for their junior school child to enable them to sit with them and watch the senior performance. Otherwise students will be supervised by teaching staff until the conclusion of the senior performance which will finish around 9:15pm. All students will need to be signed out by a parent or nominated guardian. Signage will indicate where students are being supervised by teaching staff.

Senior School Performance of Peter Pan Wednesday 30th and Thursday 31st 7:45pm
Senior school students (3-6) are required to be at Firbank Concert Centre (entry via Middle Cres) at 5:00pm on both evenings. The performance is expected to finish by 9:15pm. All students will need to be collected at the indicated area (signage will be displayed). Each student will need to be signed out by a parent or nominated guardian. Please make sure all children have been fed dinner prior to their arrival at the venue.
WHAT STUDENTS NEED TO BRING FOR ALL NIGHTS

- Junior students (Prep to grade 2) are to arrive in full costume
- Chorus pirates from grades 3A, 4B, 4C & 4D need to come dressed in dark pants.
- Water bottles, warm jackets and light snacks (all labelled)
- PLEASE NOTE: No student may bring any personal or electronic devices. These are not permitted.
