Toorak Primary School competed in the Interschool Chess Semi Final on Friday 27 October at Marcellin College coming 13th out of 19 schools. The top 6 schools went through to the Grand Final so unfortunately TPS missed out this time. The players had a strong start and were in the top 10 all day but had a tough last couple of rounds and dropped down in the standings. Oliver Pearl had an incredible start with 4/4. Our other players – Alexi Missailidis, Grayson Zimperman, Christian Ling and Fletcher Westaway all finished on 3 points. Well done to all!
